随心所欲

For those of you who may not know,
I did a courageous act,
I end the agony,
I QUIT.

Truthfully, I don't feel proud about it. You can never imagine my mum calling me and discouraging me to go to work on the first day. Why can't she have done it like the day before or even earlier?

And when I was there, I felt useless. I actually freak out when the telephone rang and will always wait for the other girl to answer. When I see a customer walking in, I immediately pretend that I didn't see her and look away. Oh how could I have done that? Very unprofessional and unforgivable. True enough, the job scope is not really suitable for me. I sat there for 6 hours and my butt hurts big time when I got home.

After I told the manager that I wanted to quit (right after Day 1), I felt like a bird, which regained its freedom and smiling away happily. I actually felt doubly guilty about it, but not until when my 2 juniors commented on how low the pay is, how boring the job is, and blah blah blah. They feel that I shouldn't had took up the job in the first place!

Somehow, I totally agree with them. They have the same thinking as my mother. It seriously can't be wrong. This incident has taught me not to accept any job offer blindly. Think of your market value, go for the right employer.

Before I started working, I planned to buy myself a Burberry wallet after I got my first pay check. But it seems like it is all over and I bid farewell to the Burberry wallet. Hope you find an owner who is as good as me.

After I quit the job, I never feel I have a lot of free time to rest and relax. Other than school workload and stuffs, I have tonnes of television shows to watch. I recorded my favourite shows and until now, I still haven't got the time to finish them. Imagine new episode come out day after day, I seriously have some catching up to do. Gosh, when was the last time I got so hooked on Mediacorp's shows? Anyway, my picks are ...

And of course I will never forget to watch my ANTM. For the latest cycle, my favourite contestant is Mckey. Sheena is a sweetie but like my favourite Dominique and Jade from the past cycles, I don't think she is suitable for Covergirl. Now now, I don't understand what hairstyle is this, Jade?!

I love watching Amazing Race and Amazing Race Asia too. Each time I watch, I will wonder how fun it is if I can take part. Many a times, the conflict between (and within) different teams can be dramatic and really funny. I personally feel that this Malaysian team in the latest season of Amazing Race Asia is damm hilarious and cute. They have my support, go for the finishing line!
