Orchard Weekend

Orchard Road is super duper crowded on weekend. I presumed places like Ang Mo Kio central, Bencoolen Street, Little India and Geylang are as crowded as well. Singapore's population is definitely getting bigger and bigger. Even international superstar Gong Li has become a Singapore Citizen.

We celebrated our beauty queen Siu Ping birthday at the Glass House on Saturday. We got her this cute and girly cupcake, interesting isn't it? There were 2 other birthday girls at the Glass House as well. Therefore, August may not actually be that month with the most birthday babies.

I think we absolutely did a great job in not talking about topics relating to our work. Kudos and applause for that really! Let us maintain this style in the future outings, haha!

On our way to Tangs, oh my god, we saw Shirlynn outside Centerpoint. She was in town to buy Christmas gifts for her boyfriend and family in London. And so, we spent the rest of the day roaming around town with her. Yay!

I saw this Aston Martin while on the bus. It was really gorgeous. I think everyone in the bus was looking at it. That lady who was driving this car owns a Hermes handbag. Oh my god! This is a dream, will I ever own a S$750 000 car in this life? Oh my god!

I went town with my nephew, my aunt, mother and brother today. Ivan is really cute and I enjoy carrying him and holding hands with him very much. I bought this green sweater for him and I think he looks really good in it. Hafi, he owns it!

The crowd in Orchard is unbearable especially those branded labels. Sometimes it really feel like market and everyone is just buying those handbags and wallets as if they are so cheap. The fact is each piece cost $500 and above. Singaporeans are so rich now. Owning a piece from any big labels ain't no big deal huh?

I was queuing outside Gucci awaiting to go in when this curious tourist came to ask me what is happening and why everyone is queuing. I told him that apparently there is a sales in Gucci. However, we all should know that it is not an unusual sight to see queues outside such labels here. Everyone can own a Gucci even those Ah Lians behind me can own. There was this ang-mo lady who brought about 5 other friends and cut queue to go in the shop directly. Despite the shopkeeper polite attempt to stop her, she insist on she and her friends to go it. I really cannot stand such low class act. If I am the representative of the label, I will call the police immediately!

As for those friends who are about my sexy size and built should know that they are able to fit into those extra-large sizes in the kids wear category of certain labels. I was there to look out for clothes for my brother and nephew when I saw this 2 guys around my age, actually I think they are categorised under chubby. Anyway, they were there trying the jackets which was on sales. Personally I really feel that the jackets look really small on them and that it is really not suitable for them. It looked too forced and try too hard. In the end, one of them bought the jacket. I think it make me feel grossed somehow. Oops!
