Roadtrip

On Saturday morning, I set off with my family, number 2 and 3 aunties, my cousin and my nephew to go to Malaysia. Our initial itinerary was to look for our friends in Batu Bahat and to pray in a couple of famous temples around that area.

These 2 uncles each own air-con and ice maker companies in that area. They were sworn brothers with my late uncle. They and their families are the most hospitable and friendly group of people that I've ever met in my life. They wanted us to stay over for the night and booked us 3 hotel rooms that afternoon. Our one-day road trip became a short holiday trip. Imagine we did not even have our clothes and toiletries with us. It was so sudden!

The first temple that we went was famous for their big fishes. These few fishes swim around the small ponds in the temple and every visitor will crowd around the small ponds in hopes of touching the big fish. People who touched the big fish will be lucky lucky. So all these visitors make themselves into the awkward and ugliest positions they could find so that they can touch the fish. Interesting! I didn't managed to touch the big ones, but I did manage to touch a small white fish. Lucky lucky!

These gold yuan bao can be found in the cave link way.
There are 4 digit numbers written on some yuan bao.

The next temple that we went to had big statues of the 8 immortals. It was my second or third time here.

There were rooms with the different lunar animals on top. If you are like me, who is born in the year of dragon, you should go into the cubicle and wash yourself with the water.

Ivan is enjoying himself at the temple!

There is a well in the temple. Oh my buddha?! Isn't this the well which Yueniang was trapped into before she got saved by Chen Xi?

We went to the new shopping mall in Batu Bahat.

I got myself a new umbrella, I love it, YAY!

The next morning, we went to a few more temples before we ended up in Malacca. Yes indeed, we ended up in Malacca my friends!

We left early as the shopping there was boring. We had a delicious dinner at Kulai before heading back home. Ivan enjoys eating the noodle!
